Make pretty plant markers. A fun little project for the first day out in the garden is to make a set of pretty plant markers. Sure, you can just write on Popsicle
plain garden stakes with whatever leftover paint you have at hand, and then use alphabet stamps to label them.
I think this is a great idea especially if your garden has a wide variety of unusual plants.
