This is a house built in the late 1930's in the Oakmore district of Oakland. Camber Construction has recently completed this beautiful kitchen, family room and dining room remodel. Design by Connie de Laveaga Stoops, Architect, at Design Studio

make it safe for the kitchen?
Hi there. Are these Tunisian tiles? They look as if they could be, or perhaps a Mediterranean tile. I'd like to do a similar back-splash and would like to know the pattern name, because the colors are perfect - as is this kitchen. Thanks so much!

thanks for your comment--the overall kitchen dimensions of this DC condo kitchen are approximately 9 feet x 11 feet. The ceiling height is 8 feet not counting the soffits we built to hold some recessed lights.

Choosing a color is very personal thing since everyone has different taste. A nice color for a kitchen like this would be something in the sage green family.

The raised part of the cabinet doors are 3 5/8" wide for this kitchen.
Sorry for the delayed response...The wood used for this kitchen was Maple. It was stained Mud Brown.
