Massachusetts. This pristine bedroom, with its wall of double-hung windows, offers sweeping views of the tidal rivers and shorebirds foraging for food.
Peaceful repose. This pristine bedroom, with its wall of double-hung windows, offers sweeping river views. The pale colours are gentle on the eyes
The corner window serves a bedroom that is blessed with a beautiful panorama of the feature the house gets its name from. Note how the small square opening responds to the room, providing light and view but also privacy in the dressing area in front of the wardrobe.

Bay window with awning over top.
dark windows with yellow house do not like
don't love the shade of yellow, but again black or green windows, white trim - - shows
I love the unusual exterior of this bay window. The fact that there is an awning over it makes it really stand out. In fact, at first glance I thought that the window here was the front door! I also like the native plant garden outside of it which draws more attention to this pretty part of the home

Where did you get the shades on the window?
of wall between the rod and window, and handing the shade higher gives the illusion of a taller window which is nice. This only works though of you are doing an outside mount shade...don't hang a rod too low just so that you can have it aligned with the top of the window.

Good idea for guest room--window seat that can double as a bed. Different colors though
with a crisp, white ceiling and trim accentuates the angle of the roofline in this springlike bedroom. A built-in window seat is a great way to take advantage of a nook beneath the window in a converted attic space.
