I am a complete and total novice and not handy at all. We have just had 3 trees cut down in our new home and I would love to make a stepping stump adventure corner in out garden. How do I stabilise the stumps to the grass?

Wisteria on Atherton fort
How long do you think the tree trunk will last before it succumbs to rot? I have a huge tree tree that is coming down this coming summer (too close to house) and thought about doing something
All plants are wonderful. . . in their right place. No harm done by this Wisteria, being planted around an old Oak tree stump.
I like the wisteria on stump

Great idea for a dead tree
CA, wisteria fringes a backyard fort atop on old tree stump.
With beautiful purple wisteria blooms dripping down around the structure of this nest built onto an old stump, the views from all sides are framed perfectly. The plantings give the tree house a veil of protection, while the open windows
This floral fort wins the Best Use of an Old Tree Stump award. While I wouldn't recommend this wisteria-draped getaway for anyone allergic to any kind of stings, it could be a great place in which to perform

Would these stump slivers hold up under foot traffic? They look rather brittle.
Where would I find tree rounds like this?
I grated down the area and used a landscape liner. I packed them in sand + crushed granite, Its worked out well.

1. Gnome tree. An enchanting addition to a children’s garden, a gnome tree like this one sparks imagination in kids of all ages. Have yours customized with swings — or, with a hollow interior, it could be a playhouse.

Just a regular tree stump would be incredibly heavy , especially without any castors to help move it. Where can this be purchased?

I am making a coffee table out of two tree stumps for the base. One tree stump will be on either side for the base support. Do you recommend me using glass for the table top or plexiglass? I am leaning towards plexiglass because it doesn't shatter. And since there
