how do you keep the dirt from washing down the hill. I love this so much and have a small slope on a small hill that I have planted but the dirt washed down even with some rocks placed here and there?

Hello--my suggestion would be to seek out, interview and hire a professional-or team of professionals-to help assess the site, determine the capacity of the site for new construction, and then work to develop your ideas and visions for a renovation
renovation or new house. Steep slope sites have many inherent issues that are important to research, to determine the feasibilty of your ideas. Hopefully there are professional designers and engineers where you are to help with that research. Good Luck!
