Combine water and metal. This simple water feature, created from rusted steel, allows the different textures of the stone, steel and water to contrast. A further contrast is also created by the still, clear stream feeding the waterfall and the turbulent result below it.

the copper fountain head. Gently falling water. Contemplative experience.
When designing your water feature, be mindful of how your system processes and moves water. Make sure that the kind of movement your system produces gives you the feeling you want to introduce into your space.A large volume of water being forcefully pushed over a waterfall can create a powerful feeling
feeling or even a boisterous vibe if it splashes about when hitting rocks below. By contrast, water gently falling rather than being pushed, as shown here, produces an entirely different garden experience, one that’s more peaceful and contemplative.

Love the water tank, where did you get it?
Is the water recycled back into the house for daily use, drnking, showers, etc?
Richwood27...no the water in the cistern does not currently feedback to the building but we designed the system so that we could use the water as grey water. Currently we are unable to use it for potable/drinking water because of health codes. And yes we would need to add

of different materials he had cut. Some are small but many are dinner plate size. I want to build a water feature & use quartz, petrified wood, granite, marble, agate, obsidian, etc in the wall with water flowing over it. Any ideas? Thank you, Debra
petrified wood. The short answer is yes, lots of ideas but with such a broad blank canvas I would not know where to begin. Small, large, outside, inside, on a deck, water on or in front like in the picture. You could break and cut and stack or mosaic like crazy paving. The stone wall in referenced image
input to assist in designing and building with you. There are so many technical construction aspects to take in to consideration when working with water to ensure the longevity of the creation. I recommend working in with a professional. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Benji

Large disappearing fountain with sand stone surround
Where is the basin for the fountian, and how large is it?
what is your source for the tank head or what is the circumference? also, what is under the stone to catch the water and what type pump are you using to get that pressure? Thanks!!! jen
Google search tank heads for a source close to you. This is a 72" diameter head. Under the gravel is a vault made of cinder box which is sealed and water proofed. Not sure about the pump. A good pump company can help you spec the proper size for this

How does your water supply feed to the center? Does it flow to both ends?
Such a clever design for a water feature!
It has a pump that pushes water up to middle of the table and flows over to both ends. The water is then recirculated up through the middle of the table. Hope that helps!
