I have a very large window too and the seal between the panes of glass failed after 4 years. is it normal for this size of windows?

Hi, If it is the large gothic window you are enquiring about, it is made of steel and it was made custom made by a contractor here in Melbourne Australia. Only specialised contractors would be able to make it. A template made of wood was firstly constructed and then the steel window made. Regards, Dominic
Hi So far the seals have not failed on our windows. There are various ways to seal windows. We used a flexible sealant that contracts and expands with the heat and cold and is administered by the contractor using a silicon gun. i have seen other methods used by contractors such as a hard mastic seal
