Thank your for the compliment. The shelf is expanded metal lath. A small steel angle was welded to this to give it some stability then the whole thing was powder coated one color.

Are those birdhouse/apartments tucked in between the rafters under the eaves? If so, clever. Really like the use of an old window turned on its side, the dutch door, the lantern and the house number rock...and who wouldn't like a galvinized watering can? Yep, it's the little thing indeed.
