963 leaf gutter guards Home Design Photos
This image shows a low guard rail with a minimalist top rail. Essentially, we could install something like this and remove it after the fact, if you want to keep with a low guard rail.
roof and gutters. Get up on a ladder or climb onto the roof (carefully!) and take a look at the rain gutters, roof and chimney. If there are sticks or leaves blocking the gutters, pull them out now — you can wait until after most of the leaves have fallen, later in the autumn, to clean the gutters out completely

Those are copper gutters. In this climate the copper will develop a flat brown patina, and looks very nice.

what type of gutter is used here?
the delayed response - we've been trying to dig up the specific colour chip but to no avail! The stucco is an acrylic EIFS system - Dryvit Stratum Guard II Rainscreen. The flashing, gutter and eavestrough is black refinished aluminum. The fascia on the flat roofed portions is hardie panel painted in gloss black to match the windows.
Example of how bronze gutters nicely frame and create a modern look. As such, bronze drip-edge makes sense. Would like to find a bronze gutter with a mill finish metal roof though

Standing seam metal rooves are frequently fabricated by local companies who use the same enameled/rolled steel as they do for gutters - they simply run the material through a different set of folding dies. Contact your local metalworking company to see what they have available.
AP says: Becky, enjoyed the article! Standing Seam is indeed the longest lasting and a very worthy investment... As far as the snow goes, the "snow guards" (bat shaped things) function to keep the snow contained, until they have a chance to melt off, or at worst break off into smaller sections before

Why does a pond house need gutters?
Instead of allowing the rain to shed off the entire roof, like a curtain, the gutters catch the water so we can direct it to the corners of the building. There are copper rain chains which also provide a functional, decorative feature
Could be a very friendly 'guard shack' at the front gate
