create that special effect by dropping rope lights into the tops.
Thanks Debbie! Since those beams are double 2x10's wrapped with 3/4" thick A & Better Cedar boards to mimic a solid beam, we were able to create that special effect by dropping rope lights into the tops.
This looks like the San Francisco by Minka Aire. You can get it with a light, different blade colors, and different finishes. You can see it here: ... Hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions!

I would go with some sort of light green or lavender as these are complementary colors to honey oak (orange). I suggest that you do some test brush-outs before making a final decision
