I understand that modern is sleek and linear but there are many plants that would both reflect that and soften the look of the front yard. The house is amazing but I feel an emptiness in the front yard. ( Just my opinion as I am not a professional.)
Different heights of the planting beds
Cool house, will look great when all the planters are full of lush plants ....
All of it. Love the cube aspect of it, with lots of light. Planters are great.
like the idea of the windows - allows natural light in but still some privacy which is important to me

This narrow side yard, originally intended for use as a vegetable garden, suffered from low light and a heavy root system from the trees next door. It was transformed using recycled rock and gravel, a vintage painter's bench, red Adirondack chairs, planters, and drought-tolerant ground cover. Photo by
Love the ideas for dealing with existing side yard with low light and root system from trees next door - could be my side yard!
good looking; has low light and heavy root system from nearby trees, it uses recycled rock and gravel and drought tolerant ground cover.
