is the limestone counter surface treated and does it make the limestone less porous?
get the limestone here locally at Exquisite Surfaces in Los Angeles (info below), and I can give you some additional information.
When we were looking at this surface, we were fully warned that there would be slight imperfections in the limestone and that we should expect the limestone to absorb stains--even
committing to limestone. They told us that along with the slight imperfections, we should basically accept the fact that the stains would become part of the "character" of the counter.
We were going for an old-world look and feel, so this information didn't bother us too much. Nonetheless, we are still careful
