i'm loving the booth style seating with the chairs and the colors!
Stylist Shannon Quimby created this linear chandelier with wine and beer bottles, and a little help from her handyman. After the bottoms were cut off, she sprayed them with glass frosting and transformed them into a stunning fixture using pendant
play here. Since the table is positioned in front of a large window with a built-in banquette seat, the owners made it work by keeping the space a little eclectic. The long bench with endless cushions is a place to relax, while the different coloured dining chairs add a more traditional feel.

I am wondering what the distance is between the edge of the island and the edge of the window seat? In my plan I only have about 5' and I'm wondering if that's enough space for a small table. It looks like the distance here is about 4'. Correct?

Love this room. Can I ask about colour - chairs, walls and curtains (if there are any curtains?). I'm not sure on white chairs and wondered whether you're mixing creams and whites in this room?
Love this light. The eames chairs are perfect. The colors are perfect. Although it is a little dark in terms of natural lighting.
light brings the ceiling down and creates a more intimate space. Third, the tall, high vistas give a feeling of looking out and up. It's the perfect little dining nest, even though it is in an open space.

nearly impossible to keep the water from getting between the stones. I think you are on the right track with similarly colored tiles, maybe something a little larger scale, that would pull those warmer colors out of the stone wall behind the vanity. Start with maybe some 6" x 6" tiles and see how those look
Wow - that stone is beautiful! Looks like a spa. :) I'm relaxed just looking at it. We custom-make similar pendants from fused and blown glass. They're made specific to your budget and your space's needs.
