Passive House Retreat

Questions5
This vacation residence located in a beautiful ocean community on the New England coast features high performance and creative use of space in a small package. ZED designed the simple, gable-roofed structure and proposed the Passive House standard. The resulting home consumes only one-tenth of the energy
Love this space! What is the white paint code? Thank you!
The iconic gable form and bold red color used outside appear again on opposite ends of the indoor living space. The exposed ductwork assists with the small amount of backup heat the family requires beyond the passive heat, as well as air conditioning for
days when natural ventilation can't handle a heat wave. Both come from a small, single system. "We needed to create a sense of entry within the living space," explains Horowitz; the small, low walls to the left provide this.

Looking to purchase a "barn door". I live in Ontario, Canada. Any suggestions?
If you can, put the TV in its own room. Rather than letting the TV take center stage in an open-plan living space, consider moving it into a separate space. Not having the TV in the main living space makes it easier to avoid turning it on “just because.”

Intrigued by big sectional sofa like this, with ottomans that also create a big open seating space for cuddling, sprawling, etc.
Modular couch - could make space for kids tricks if needed
Like a fun couch like this-like the color for the living room though

Hi Angela, Love your smart use of an efficiency space. I'd like to know where I can purchase the eye clock (or what looks like an eye and a clock all in one) that's hung on the partition wall? I'd love
The partition separates the living room and the bedroom. This photo may give you a better idea.
Thank you. It's beautiful. Checked out his store. Great stuff! Too bad I live in New England!

teeny shower spot: Create a space with personality. Who says “small” always has to mean “white and minimalist”? I love this pocket-size shower in a wooden tub. It is cute and unassuming and uses a very small space in a very inventive way.
