on a new house and have built a loft very similar to this one. It is a 9 ft climb to the entry of the loft. The ladder is positioned behind the door and will have to be fixed on an angle as steep as this one. Has this worked well for the children who use it?
this to pass code inspection? I have been trying to figure out the code for loft space with respect to stairs vs ladders. Everything I've seen seems to indicate that if the space is "inhabitable"(coded by size ) then it must have stairs not ladder. How do you get around this??
