The plants are real . The doors can close - in this shot they are bi-folded over to each side of the large opening into the garden. This situation not ideal for a bug phobic person - but often these type of resort homes have a schedule of pesticide treatments ! So bugs are at

thanks for the compliment. The edging is a simple cut edge between the lawn and gardens, nothing fancy.
