“cabinetry in the house. I'd suggest consulting with a design professional on complicated details a cabinet like this requires.
The five inches is wide enough to get a squeegee in there for cleaning if necessary.

“basically hung in front of the window. It has glass on both sides so that the contents can not fall towards the window. There is about 4 or 5 inches between the cabinet and window which still makes it possible to clean.
