MamaKatz, I love Arhaus! The dining room light definitely has a presence in our 14' wide room. It may be a little overwhelming in a 12' room. It also depends on how wide your table is. I'd recommend comparing the diameter measurement of the light with the width of
over it in the photo the green tag will show you the specifics
will feel in the room.

that is made by Grothouse Lumber (not the one in the picture above) and it can be seen on this site if you search under: Clawson Architects. It is shown in a white kitchen and has a dark brown stain.

Those glass upper cabinets were custom made, along with all
cabinetry in the house. I'd suggest consulting with a design professional on complicated details a cabinet like this requires.
The five inches is wide enough to get a squeegee in there for cleaning if necessary.

basically hung in front of the window. It has glass on both sides so that the contents can not fall towards the window. There is about 4 or 5 inches between the cabinet and window which still makes it possible to clean.
