Lighting over the island is a must. If your island is finished in marble, consider accessorizing it with gold fixtures. Look for something out of the norm — traditional chandeliers get a quick update when placed inside modern drum shades.

Amazing marbling on these tiles. These issues are a real consideration when choosing between real marble or porcelain!
Great showing of wood & marble color scheme
Too much $; too much marble but beautiful. Wood gives a good contrast and rest for the eyes.

What is the name of this marble? beautiful!
Hello Cindy, it is Carrara Marble tile. Our source was Ann Sacks, but there are lots of other manufactures that have similar tile.
Hi! Is that Carrara marble from Daltile? Thanks
thebuilderdepot.com they offer a range of subway tiles for example 3x6" starting from $7.00SF and up to only $8.00SF for the 6x12". Incredible Italian marble for a fraction of the cost you would pay at any showroom. The showrooms as mentioned above sell by "THE PIECE" that is 8 pieces for one square foot
Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we don't have record of the exact grout color, but it is a light grey that is picking up the mid tones of the marble.
