ng UV window film. If you really don't want coverage but find the room too bright, UV film is a great option. It acts like sunglasses for your windows, cutting down on glare. It enhances thermal properties and protects your furnishings from fading and deterioration. Silk, for example, is susceptible
rot. UV window film helps protect silk drapes.

love the window seat and the built-in shelves! Did you use slat board or is it a painting technique?
I don't like this window seat BUT this is a reminder that I do love window seats..great place to read.

“faux” bay window by building out the walls on either side of a conventional window. Insert bookcases into the sides of the bay, and use the space below the seat for drawer or cabinet storage.

walls and windows, rough tiled flooring. rustic.
Like the windows because of the location
wall of windows in the living room creates an almost transparent divide from the outdoors. Also known for his principles of organic architecture, Wright had almost everything in the home made of natural materials. Here, the vintage Eames Lounge Chair blends effortlessly with the handmade kilim rugs and
outside the windows, creating a seamless transition from indoors to out. A riff on this design would work well in a modern living space — especially one with high ceilings.Works with: Bungalow, modern, contemporary, rustic

Wild Oceanside Home
large windows all around this ocean-side home, eliminating upper cabinets on the view side of the kitchen. A window is even placed behind the gas range so the owner can look outside to the wild yard while cooking.
front of a window?? thought not!
we've been told that safety codes will not allow what's pictured here---and in our remodeling we want to do exactly what's shown, a gas stovetop with window behind. any information will be appreciated!
find the windows by the sink need to be cleaned often or does the extra depth of the counter help with that? We're considering the countertop/window interface design, but are concerned about how often we'll be washing the windows.
find the windows get splashed anymore than a backsplash of tile would have to be cleaned. Go for it - the look is so clean . I personally do not like the look of a change in material for a backsplash. If doing a backsplash I like to repeat the countertop material instead. I hope this helps.

What is the length of the Bay window? I love this idea - but only when it's done right. This one is!
Who is the bay window manufacturer?

Woodvalley House - Bathroom
operable window above the tub. We would like to switch out the soaker tub for a glass shower. Can you tell us if there are window covers or which windows can be used in showers. Ours has a deep inset so I am concerned that water may sit in the sill or the moisture may deteriorate the window.
kind of window is this? thanks in advance!
How to open this type of window ?
What window products can be within a shower?
Could you kindly describe how the window was trimmed, including size of wood used. Also, is there a drywall reveal? If so, how was it constructed? I look forward to your response. Thank you so much.
mahogany window installed above the splash line in an open bathroom so moisture is not a problem.
where can i get those chairs and windows?
can i get a trellis like this added to my "normal" paned double hung windows?
glass window for the top of my main enterance door but can not find anyone to do it for me. I have a new construction home which we are building as we speak. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my email and look forward to hearing back from you soon.
these windows reinforced with zinc rods. Plan on $100 per square foot. Some places sell glue-on lead came (it is called 'came.') If you really want this look in real, beveled glass, maybe $400 per square foot is more realistic.
Hi. Beautiful windows!! They look like beveled leaded glass. I would
existing windows. But you could try a faux technique as described in the attached link: http://www.ehow.com/how_4919477_create-faux-leaded-glass-window.html
