I love how this looks and am trying to do something similar in my basement. I am curious if you just bought a thin wall mount and put the frame in front of the TV, or if you actually affixed the tv to the frame. Thanks for any help you can provide! -Dhruv

Hardwood floors in the media room?
How are the acoustics in this room with hardwood floors? I really want to replace my wall to wall carpet with hardwood and an area rug in our media room but I was advised against it. Just curious what your experience

Did you use the same paint on ceiling & walls or mix a satin or something for the walls with the flatter ceiling paint in the same color?

Hi and thanks for the question! While flat paint is usually used to ceilings, we used the same finish on all the walls and ceilings here for economical purposes. (You'll see that there is a slight sheen to the ceiling surface, which would be avoided by using flat paint. But in this case, we kind of like
