fence of rebar woven with thin metal
one-of-a-kind fence. Here we see rebar used as structural support for a unique custom fence. Thin strips of metal are woven through it, adding depth and texture. A quick trip to your building supply store will reveal several options in sheet metal and roof flashing that can be used in this type of installation

great fence panels and creates a dramatic backdrop
Would this fence get hot? ex: exposure to sun, etc. Thanks
just wondering about the long term look of this fence.... would it rust? I love it!
Would this fence hold up to high winds? Would it get very hot?
We live at the mouth of a canyon, which causes high winds. We also live in a desert area so it gets hot. Do you feel this would be a good privacy fence and would you plant grass nearby? What did you use to brace it against?
Love this fence, any pointers on making it?
How do construct the supporting framework of this fence?
substrate metal. Zinc can be applied at different thicknesses for more or less protection. Thickness is reflected in the price. Care must be taken in handling to avoid scratching the galvanized finish. Field cuts and drill holes require treatment with zinc-containing paint to repair the anti-corrosive barrier

The fence and the yellow wall
Love the contrast of the yellow and plants--looks good with metal
majority of fence being metal. Link elements with layering, landscaping, and lighting.
Corrugated sheet metal as fencing material - run horizontally in our application? would look better if trimmed out w/ wood or metal framing
barrier or fence. Corrugated galvanized iron panels, so favored as a cheap roofing and building material in the past, are used here as a decorative feature, set to contrast against a stunning yellow wall. The shadows created along the lines of the corrugation give the steel a great feeling of texture against

wood, metal, and glass is enhanced by thoughtful details and clever spatial solutions. A cypress wood front porch reflects up the easy-going architecture of the neighborhood and another porch overlooks the courtyard, which offers a private outdoor room. Inside, cork floors, a walnut divider, and built-in
is the fence just made of old barn roof? How did you do it? It looks awesome
Thinking of using this type of recycled material for privacy fence. However, worried about support issues with strong winds. Any advice or making fence durable to high wind exposure

It looks like a very attractive escape proof fence for dogs. I'd love to know who manufactures it and where it can be purchased.
like the metal living fence. Is it custom or can you say who manufactures it
I am curious about the posts, almost looks like 4x6's with 2x4's attached to hold the fence in place?
The fence allows for ivy growth.

BAD: looks like an Australian detention camp! I think the metal mesh needs to be more open, light, and unpainted (galvanised?) to escape these negatives?
Metal fences, with their ability to have slender profiles, are very good as armatures for ivy, creepers and other climbing plants. Behind this school-turned-home in Chicago, we see a fence in the early stages of plants taking hold. As they climb, the plants will create more privacy.
