Rebekah. So inspiring! What is the finish of the cabinet pulls, both on the perimeter and on the island? Are the perimeter pulls oil-rubbed bronze or black? If oil-rubbed bronze, is black too harsh a finish? Are the island pulls polished chrome or another finish? Finally, what are the sizes of the

I love the rectangular tiles--they look like they have a metallic sheen--do they? Who makes these tiles, and do you have the name of the pattern?
Ceramic tiles. Interceramic oxide in argillite 12x24 Metallic sheen
Here is some 12"x24" rectangular wall tile in gray and rust tones with a beautiful metallic finish. This tile appears to be rectified, which means the edges have been precisely cut at the factory. Rectified tile can be set very close together, resulting in tight grout joints.

This kitchen utilizes a lot of metallic finishes. The bulk of them are matte, while the stools, hardware and a few accent pieces are polished.

Where can I find a metal kitchen island with a rustic wood top?

They work very, very well with our modern sealants and finishes, but I often encounter "too much wood syndrome" in kitchens with wood floors, and wood cabinets requesting wood countertops as well.
