Fauxwood blinds. I would usually not suggest this for a bedroom it doesnt block the light but in this case you can see there are draperies to cover the blinds to block out the lights.

Surfaces need to be pristine before application — no flaking paint, chips or cracks. Although the plaster can be applied to certain textured
done in Venetian Plaster. The dark 'spots' that you see are actually Copper Leaf that was applied between layers of the Venetian Plaster so that it gave a true old world look to the room. It took my faux finishers over 2 weeks to complete the walls. There was a team of 3 working 10-12 hours a day to
frame (the metal ones) that we then screwed to the headboard so it doesn't move.
