notes: A tiled runner on the floor, simple industrial-style pendant lights and clusters of green plants combine to create a greenhouse feel, and the lines created by the row of desks and lights draws the eye out to the patio beyond, expanding the sense of space.

Simplicity of this fireplace wall. Clean lines yet elegant. Too much traditional detail on woodwork. Certainly don't want marble.

personal failure with painters tape, so I have gathered a few improved tips on how to get a clean line for your wall color. One technique still utilizes blue painters tape to mask the edges. Mask a straight line with the tape, but allow a 1/8"-1/16" gap between the wall to be painted and the painters
