I thought of this space in my mind and here it is! I pictured my kids and their friends sitting around enjoying
when they designed this Texas fire pit, so it's only fitting that the kids are in the picture — just as we expect them to be.
Grilling over a fire is part of the fun of camping, so make sure you have the necessary items. These kids know that the best part of being outdoors is surely the s’mores!

shelving to the side of the room too dark and hate the fabric on the chaise but it's still appealling somehow

I love the dark grey wall as a contrast to the white in the room.

Do you know the provenance or history of this piece of furniture. It inspires the room , or pulls it together if you wish. I do not care for the Hermes blanket sooooo show-offish. Just me ...;-(
I like the oriental style and neatness of this room. I dislike the plain colored walls and floors. This room shows the Oriental taste which brings me to believe it is Chippendale inspired.

looked on Etsy or Artspan for the artist? Maybe ArtFido? Try a search for semi-circle or arch linear abstract painting. Also look under contemporary and modern; dominant colors are blue and yellow. I'm an abstract artist, but this is a very different style from mine.
geometric floor scheme and coloration. Too modern?
Picture, furniture, lightness of room, era look
I love the fun, modern look of this
air of modernism, so why not bring its design credentials to your living room? An eye-catching patterned rug in a handful of tones is ideal, and you can continue the geometric theme onto soft furnishings, furniture and even artwork.
The same principle applies to cushions in a Mid-century Modern room
blocking to create visually mesmerizing rooms.

Hi, I love where and how you've used color in this room. It's clean, modern, calm and stunning. Could you please tell me what blue that is on the accent wall? Thanks, Sharon
like as a second living room or like our game room or like the kids living room
De Vargas used the design of the living room to set the tone for the rest of the areas in the building. A retro-modern look infused with turquoise and pink accents sounds jarring, but under her direction it’s pleasing to the eye.

Does this room rotate like the CN Tower in Toronto too???

Hard Lines. Modern. All cold colors: Blues, purples, black, & white.

Drench in blue lightOk, so this room may not be painted or furnished in dark blue, but the striking coloured lighting bathes this entire space in a mesmerising cobalt glow. Perhaps this is the ultimate party room for urban living?
Modern Urban Revival
the living and dining rooms was the focus of the redesign. Also on the wish list was a new bedroom and a second family bathroom to be located in the area of the existing kitchen. The resulting plan for this extensive renovation was an updated floor plan to match our clients’ modern lifestyle, while retaining
detail. Connecting the most frequented rooms in the house required relocating the kitchen to the front of the condo to be closer to the living and dining rooms. A wall anchored by elegant columns defines the kitchen and adds sophistication to the adjoining dining room. Natural light shines through skylights
enclosed, as is traditional in Japan, in floor to ceiling glass. To complete our clients wish list, we designed and built a classic Japanese Tatami room to double as both a guest bedroom and meditation space – a unique feature within a classically designed home. Photos by John Horner
