Expansive Kitchen
Benjamin Moore "Decorators White" in semi gloss. I just purchased a house that has a brand new cherry wood kitchen. I have had my heart set on white cabinets. What color were these cabinets before you painted them? Can I paint my cherry wood kitchen cabinets and have the same result??
know what type of wood was used on the island.
Hi there - these countertops are PERFECT. Is that a "modern" edge on the granite or something else? We are deciding between "bullnose" and modern" edge for our granite. Thanks!
do you happen to know how many sqft the house is?
alike. Your kitchen is so very beautiful that I may well copy it for my house in England
Thanks for the great compliment...so wonderful that you took inspiration from this project. We do not have the specifics on the woven wood shades from Budget Blinds.

What type of wood is on the windows. How thick are the window frames and what color is the paint. Thanks
What type of wood did you use on the floors? Are they wide plank? And could you be more specific with what you treated them with? They have a wonderful reclaimed look - great job.
polyurethane was used on the floors, giving the wood the durability of a polyurethane finish with the appearance of a waxed floor.
rustic ceiling, dark wood framed windows with light coloured trim, wood floor

Those are hobbled woven woods shades. Many companies manufacture these

Love the floor. What kind of wood is it?
Where can I get thus wood stove?
Thank you. The floors are white oak and the finish is Linseed Oil rather than a high gloss finish so the wood looks as natural as possible but is still treated.

If this were my weekend house, I know exactly where I would plant myself: in the lounge chair next to the window wall and its stunning view. The narrow widths of glass (the opening could feasibly be one or two pieces of glass) and vertical frames echo the trunks of the trees beyond.

I have 3 kids and two dogs. How can I make my house kid friendly without sacrificing too much style?
What type of stone and what type of wood is this?
I'm about to break ground on a MCM style house and have extensive stonework planned but can't find just the right MCM/contemporary stone.
What kind of wood is that on the wall? Is it maple flooring? Or tongue and groove?
I love the wood on the wall
Can you tell me about the wood on the walls? Thanks!
know what kind of stone you used for your project? I've been tirelessly searching for something like the stone in this pic or similar to the Sinatra house in Palm Springs. I'd be VERY grateful for any advice!
The wood is bleached and stained Walnut

would you modernize such a beautiful home?
Could you please tell me the paint color of the house, (outside)
Hello, New first time homeowner here trying to put some life back into my 1880 Victorian. Although my house has less
than black? I cant picture if this would make the house appear too busy (less formal?) Any insight helps. Thanks and great job. ps. as to some of the other comments: These people can go live at the renaissance faire anytime they want. Modernization doesn't have to mean cold steel and lifeless cement
Love the front of this house
this exterior in a victorian yet modern like design is incredible!

Fresh take on farmhouse design
Hi Denise, the vertical vinyl siding on the house is barn red, and the vinyl shingles on the basement level are brown. The red looks especially good with white windows and trim.
I like the vertical siding and I like the red color with the wood
Great idea of front porch to set tone of house in otherwise ordinary metal building
wood contrast with red and white
Would love to extend my current roof above my front door with a timber frame covered deck like this and have the deck continue to wrap around the house in an L shape.
