Like big windows with wood joist/beams. Not a fan of the ceiling
Contemporary. Here is a house that also has full-height glazing and some wood structure (beams, joist and decking), but I define it as contemporary because of the hybrid nature of the structure and the concrete hearth. (The firebox is on the other side, facing the living room.) If structure is exposed
exposed in a modernist house, it has a clarity and order to it, but the white steel beams below the wood joists are a disjunction that points to a different way of thinking. This departure from order is also found in the way the concrete hearth punctures the ceiling; its form does not follow the structure

Can anyone tell me the color/wood of these floors
You can probably save a lot by making all the components separetly. Use a meral worker for the steal rail. Use a wood worker for the wood ( it doesnt seem to be turned wood so any router will do the trick I guess) Buy and cut tempered glass to size and finally buy window spacers t mount it on

Meticulously crafted cabinets, thick slabs of marble and wood, and reflective glass and stainless-steel surfaces create a workspace that functions well for serious cooks—or “cocktails only.” Smart storage—like the floor-to-ceiling wine rack—keeps it clutter-free.
Could you share the type of wood used for the countertop? Is it durable or more decorative?
Hi Danielle. It is a walnut countertop, and yes, it is durable. Maintenance of a wood countertop is a bit more time consuming than a stone or concrete countertop; however, a wood countertop is extremely aesthetically appealing and ideal in some spaces (baker's prep area, dining counter
