I'm very interested in the pendant light. I see that you have put them in two different houses. I have looke
I had a pendant light exactly like this I purchased in 1985 from Conran's and ordered by mail.
you've used old floor joists for the countertop! We've just salvaged pine floorboards in our 200yo house that are a good 2" x 10" x 12' or so, and I'm thinking I could copy your idea: what did you do to clean your boards up? Scrub with soap and water? Sand-blast? Did you re-plane them, or scrub them

Family Room
Made by Comfort Furniture Galleries in San Diego
Terrific use of space in a narrow room. I'm wondering if you recall the dimensions? I have an IDENTICAL den ( long and narrow) and would love to compare. Thank you much in advance.
I'm so sorry that I can't help with this question but we didn't do the work on the fireplace. It was done by the builder before we designed the room.
Thank you! The sectional was purchased at Comfort Furniture Galleries on Miramar Road in San Diego.
I'm sorry I don't recall the exact color. It's a micro suede material in a caramel coloring.

I'm sorry but they were purchased so long ago that it's difficult to recall. Pottery Barn might have some good pillows, especially stripes. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful :-(

Hi, I love the clear panels on the covered overhang. They allow light to come through, yet keeps patio furniture dry. What are they and where can I find them?
It is just a guess but this could be the Dean coffee table from ModLoft.....
What do you like about this photo? I like the open clean space and the floor that has stone has a spa effect to it. The white modern furniture gives a cool environment that again feels like you are in a spa.

I live near Boston. I'm remodeling my kitchen. The island requires a one piece slab Calacatta gold (or similar) of 140". I'm having such a hard time to find it. Do you recommend a kitchen designer around this area? Maybe they

That is a chair by Noir! I just used it in a project! You can't buy from them directly but you can go to their website and find a retailer in your area. Good Luck! http://www.noirfurniturela.com/GCHA136.html

saic-tiles-creamamorfill-brick-pattern.html but since your floor is dark, I'd suggest a backsplash that unites the lighter color of the cabinets and the dark color of the floor., something like this http://www.glasstilestore.com/arcadia-kousa-random-brick.html
bring this image to your local lighting studio and I'm sure they can help.
This is a limestone tile. It was not in our scope of work, it was selected by the interior designer. We suggest visiting your local tile showroom and I'm sure they can help you pick something similar.
Those look like flat Roman shades. http://www.blindsdirectcanada.com/blinds-toronto/shades-toronto/roman-blinds.html
You can certainly go with a lighter island and oak is a beautiful wood! In this project, the darker finish was selected to compliment the existing furniture owned by the client and additional darker accents were chosen for the decorative hardware, hinge and light fixtures finishes. Just keep in mind these

I think this bathtub http://edezeen.com/categories/bathroom/bathtubs/cala.html is similar with this one from the picture
When the shower is in use, does the tub also get wet? I'm trying to understand the "wet room" concept. I would rarely use the tub so I don't know if I'm creating more cleaing work for myself with this concept.
nice size. The tub and the shower on the the same side (south side of the room). I'm not an architect/builder....but it seems doable to me. Your thoughts woud be most appreciated.
I'm looking for a true grey that's not too dark. Thanks.

Will that be enough contrast to create this look? Or should the cabinets be built deeper? I'm not sure how to avoid the
I have my TV off to the right side of my fireplace too and struggle with positioning the furniture. In your picture none of the furniture is facing the TV. Is there a sofa outside the picture? Thanks for the inspiration and help!
This is my layout except I have an open wall to my dining room by the sofa. Also behind the chair is a bow window. Wondering about furniture placement with that open wall I have. This is beautiful.
