Backsplash: Trento Damasco ceramic mosaic tile from Porcelanosa
This is another favorite backsplash tile of mine. I love the irregular and random triangular and wedge shapes as well as the subtle color variation among the pieces. This particular tile requires fairly thick grout lines, so be sure to seal the grout according to the manufacturer’s specifications. B

Set your pool above the standard with unique detailing, like colorful tiling or a stone surround (or both). It will be a treat to the eyes every time you walk into your backyard.
Aptly called "The Matador," this crimson-tile lap pool and its retaining wall completely contrast with the surrounding landscape. The pool adds visual interest beyond its striking hue. From this

I have a white pebble tile and not sure if I should use a grout that matches as closely as possible, a lighter white tone, or a slightly beige tone. You have two tones of pebble tile here....what is the rule of thumb for grout color with white pebble tile?
Is there grout between tile and wood? Did you build up floor
Is there grout between tile and wood? Did you have to build up floor under the wood to get even transition? Donna
The above comments are generally correct! Most of the time when going with a pebble tile you want to at least slightly contrast the stones with the grout so that the individual stones stand out and "pop". Making everything blend perfectly
lighter and a slightly tan color which is darker...but I had not thought to wet the stones!! Clearly matchy matchy is not a good idea with the pebble tile and grout.
