Love this space but the mulch can be very messy...what else would you use besides this inbetween stones?

How about if we used pebble rock instead of mulch around pavers or slabs stones?

Sorry for the delayed response, its a partly composted cedar bark strip mulch
The photo is decieving... the mulch between the slabs was temporary, until the lawn seed germinated... once the grass is in, weeds won't have much of a chance.
