The sitting room has a double height, incorporating the stairs over one of the sides of the inner yard and an in-out swimming pool that is joined to the lake visually and serves as separation from the master suite. The upper floor is organized around the double-height space, also benefiting from the views
the owners’ work, also enjoying the best views of the lagoon, not just from its privileged location in height but also from its sides made of glass towards the exterior and towards the double height of the sitting room.

Stool height for appropriate clearance to the apron?
Love this design with the apron and legs giving the island a farm table look. This looks like a 36" island height. What is the required stool height? What are the other "height" measurements - clearance to apron from stool, apron height and counter
Did you receive an answer to this question regarding the apron and stool height? Thank you.

I am wondering about the height of the hooks. This design looks very kid friendly - are they placed at a height for kids to reach?
I'm not sure what the height of the hooks are. There are two different heights in each section for the various items the children have. But, I do believe they are at a "kid friendly" height.
The room width is about 7'. And thanks for your nice comments. The clients obviously really use this space. The have three children and it's an active household! Kathryn
different height of hooks. Seating area separate from hook area-won't hit head on backpack while putting on shoes.
Like the lockers- space for shoes
Big spaces. Lots of hooks.
5. Storage. When you're trying to organize individual spaces for the smaller members of the family, a special piece of their artwork can be great visual reminder for whose cubby is whose.Design tip: Jazz up a children's space by framing art from their favorite books. Imagine a series of Dr. Seuss images

Can you please tell me what are the dimensions of the vanity, height of wood, plus height of counter, plus height of sink?
what is the height of the vanities and what height do you have the sit down area at? Beautiful design!
were other photos that shows/displays other angles of the room. For example, w/o the reflection from the mirriors in this space, I wouldn't be able to see what other parts of the space looks like. Perhaps its jus me.
Sorry...this is a question: Is the vanity aprox 110 inches long and is the height of the sitting area about 33"???
integrated, large mirrors. Plenty of room to wall side of sinks to keep centers clear.. We have no need for a dressing table, chair, though. Better use for space might be a cabinet or niche.

What is the height of your bar? Bar stools ?
I would like to know what is the height of the wall coating?
We just finished our basement. The ceiling height is 71/2'. The bedroom is 13'x13'. We have a bathroom as well as a small family room. I would like to paint the walls balanced beige by Sherwin Williams. I was wondering if I could paint the ceilings the same color? Thank-you!
This is typical bar height and barstool height.
This is at 3'-0" just like chair rail height. The lower level has approximately 9' ceilings in this house
shades of the color on your walls or even do an accent color, just don't go too dark because of your low ceilings. Ceilings are a big piece of the space and they have been ignored for years. It is the 5th wall! Decorate it! Here are photos of a room that we designed five years apart that show the ceilings

you for your question! The tree is a multi-stem Serviceberry (Amelanchier canadensis or Amelanchier grandiflora), a very nice ornamental species. Full of seasonal interest, they flower (white) in early spring, and have fantastic orange-red fall color. Mature height will be around 20 ft., you can also
also find them with a single trunk. The trees on the side are multi-stem River Birch (Betula nigra), a larger 'shade tree' species with attractive peeling bark.
Just like the look of it - the simple geometry. The squared stones that create a path and help define the space.
