How is the inside of the cornice board finished since you can see it from the sofa.
I have the same type of window and positioning of the sofa. I don't like to see the lining or staples on the inside of the cornice board. How do you suggest this be done?
I'm so sorry, but I have no idea. It has been there since my parents owned the house in the 1960's. I can tell you that it's made of brass and wire screen...
I would never use glue because I'd be afraid it would change colour over time. My workroom will use a tape to hide staples. The tape can be
like a pagoda style cornice. However the sides are curved outwards. So you can see the underside due to its shape. When you construct the cornice boards how would you conceal staples or hems? is it hand sewn or do you use glue? or is that a absolute don't?

Hi I am considering revere pewter for my walls. Can you please tell me what the ceiling color is here? Is it same as the trim or half formula perhaps?
The Benjamin Moore colours are not available in Australia and I just love the "Revere Pewter" colour! I would really like to use this colour in my home and would appreciate it if you could advise the RGB values and LRV.
when you say trim - I assume you are talking about all trim including baseboards, and casings. In my house the builder put a off-white/cream colour on trim, ceilings are white, not sure what colour to paint our crown holding now????
molding idea for my living room
this pic is just to look at the painted white moldings and base boards and how good the natural wood floors look with it.

in-your-face and it highlights one-of-a-kind, Navajo pieces such as tapestries or longhorns. (Now that I wrote about them, I kinda want longhorns in my house.) One of the most common Navajo patterns of the 20th century is the "Eyedazzler," consisting of small, serrated diamonds which appear to form

I really like the color on the exterior cedar shakes and board and batten. It looks somewhat aged, how did you achieve this? I am a high end luxury builder in the SC upstate and western NC and I frequently use cedar and I would would love to know what you used.
How did you finish deck so insects don't come in through floor boards?
Hello, We only dealt with that on the screen porch and this was handled with screening under the deck boards. Hope that helps!
Hi, I use special mastic which I make by self for all my products. It makes all things long working, safe for children - as it's natural product, and save product from insects and thing can be used everywhere
Under deck boards use screen to keep out pests
