Tellico Cabin
Craig Kronenberg used simple materials and forms to create this family compound. The use of Hardi-board siding, a stone base and a standing seam metal roof make this a low maintenance home. The house is located to focus all rooms on the river view. Photographs by Harlan Hambright.
Can you tell me if the roof in Galvalum? Also, can you tell me the color used for the Hardi-board? Thanks.
it is a plain roof, one ridge along the entire roof. Just need to know if I can afford a zinc roof. Also, is it suitable for the coastal weather? My email address is mcsloop@ctc.net. Many thanks, Gail

The chairs are indeed from Room & Board. That particular textile is Vessel Charcoal which, to date, Room & Board still carries. It's a fantastic chair especially for the price!
They're from Room & Board...I believe they're called the Cole Chair...Thanks for your question.
tiles from FLOR. That particular line is no longer available but they have something very similar (just a lower pile height - not as attractive in my opinion). You can also find similar natural-wool shag rugs at many rug vendors. Happy hunting!

Love this room! Are the horizontal wall boards also tongue and groove MDF or are they just boards placed 1/16th of an inch apart?

could you please tell me what kind of window molding this is? I love it and would like to put the same in my project. Thankyou
On another picture on Houzz they used poplar boards that were primed and painted (of course) and were penny spaced. Meaning they used actual pennies to measure the spacing between the boards. Don't know the width though. Maybe 12"?
Like how the horizontal boards make the ceiling seem less prominent
