Can't decide between natural cherry or fruitwood

My thought was if you actually stain the cherry a little (fruitwood is one over from natural), it doesn't darken as much as natural cherry, especially if you use a uv protectant and it would stay
Natural finish across Hickory/Pecan is a great choice. Your installers and finishers did a great job.

think the mix is probably more about what is available to get the color mix. The floors have a natural finish and are the standard 3/4" solid plank. In case anyone else is wondering, the cabinets are a natural finish cherry. The beams (and all of the other beams in the house) are douglas fir.

We will use natural cherry shaker cabinets with wood floors. What color/type of wood floor goes best with natural cherry cabinets? Love the kitchen!
We have dark stone countertops and natural cherry cabinets...I'd like to paint them white. Is this a bad idea? Noticed you show both natural and painted...
I just ordered natural cherry glazed cabinets....
cabinets are semi-custom. They are natural cherry in a Shaker style. They're the Showhouse line made by Metropolitan Cabinets in Norwood, MA (...). They have Massachusetts showrooms in Norwood, Watertown, and Natick. They are sold only through the trade. So you'll need a designer or contractor to assist with
Mine are a natural cherry with just a clear finish (though I added a brown glaze)...the brown glaze makes them appear a bit deeper and richer than the picture above...but still fairly light and not at all orange or red.

So natural. Love that the pool doesn't stand out, but blends in to nature.

Lutyens believed strongly that there is no free curve in nature — "every line obeying the laws and forces which produce it." It was the result of these convictions that produced the strong geometry his schemes exhibited. This modern hillside garden displays all the simple geometric shapes so loved
Lutyens — the squares and oblongs linked in a pleasing format. The clever trick with the design, though, is how the free-flowing planting not only softens the hard landscaping, but draws it into the surrounding natural landscape.

I live in Lake Tahoe. We have issues with rabbits and our dog's urine ruining the grass. We've tried everything. Thinking of options and the natural, whispy lawn looks intriguing.

Did you know that the famous nature photographer Ansel Adams had ADHD? Do you know how he eased it? Maybe we all should get outside and photograph lovely natural vistas more often.

Selecting Materials for WeatheringThe untreated western red cedar on this exterior is paired with a natural copper chimney. Both of these materials will age differently over time. The copper will stay bright for a week at most, then transition to a light
purple and quickly to dark bronze, and eventually to a bright green verdigris; the red cedar will darken with age. When selecting materials for their natural weathering characteristics, seeking low-maintenance ones makes perfect sense. Copper, and metals in general, as well as stone and concrete are com
