I like the window shades. What are they called? How do you keep the light out for sleeping?
I think this is a Hunter Douglas shade. You can check it out in their website.
neutrals the backbone. Whether shades of gray, cream, white or chocolate, I like to stick with these color families as a base, then add a punch of vivid color like turquoise, green or orange. Overall, my client's favorite color usually determines the punch!
Shades of pale blues help things stay on
Full-length drapes or shades with a blackout liner are essential in bedrooms, particularly if you have trouble sleeping with light from street lamps slipping into your room all
Draperies. Bedrooms on the first floor usually need more privacy than bedrooms on the second floor, but both may require natural light. This very contemporary floor-to-ceiling drapery offers light as well as privacy. When it's closed, an entire wall of fabric still allows light

Splashily colored, bright showoffs can take away from a landscape's blended textures and natural earth tones. But this particular design changed my mind. A bright blue ball amidst a bed of hostas reflects the sky the way a pool or a pond would. In the absence of water, a bright blue metallic surface

I like the gray tile color. The tiles are a rather dark shade of gray, but because the rest of the colors in the space are light and there is plenty of natural light streaming in, they create drama without being too heavy and overwhelming.

what shade of yellow and who makes the paint?
to tell from these pics - I have a yellow home with white trim and am about to choose new front deck and garden box colors and love this shade of (green?), and the copper brown accents!
is Anchor Paint. Upper Level Yellow is #7880. The lower level is difficult to classify... He said they "doubled the formula", to create a darker shade. The white trim is Anchor 620 white. Hope that helps! - Kenny

Sorry Judy- If you would like to click on the link above to all purple rugs, you might see something closer to your exact shade of purple. Are you looking for a cut pile or a shag rug? There are many shags in close to this tone
Love the white with the natural wood
the natural wood, color of rug and flowers - overall simple yet stately
An entire shelving unit in a pale shade of purple may seem kind of startling. But it works when paired with complementary yellow and natural wood floors. The oranges and yellows in wood grain play off purple, which lies in the opposite position
Because both colors have blue in their base, it's helpful to pair them with a warm tone to complement their cool shades. A mid-toned wood is just the material for the job.

Hi I really like these shades can you tell me where they are from?
vintage light with seagrass and natural look
Plain, unsealed walls might be too much wood. Painting them would allow for use of other natural elements without being too much.
Painted wooden walls (a combination of painted wood in the bedrooms and natural wood in the main living areas might be nice)
Rattan furniture. Much like wicker, rattan is a natural material that is used to produce a wide array of furniture. It has a relaxed feel to it, which is probably why I think of summer whenever I see a rattan chair. Add a chair or headboard made of this material to give your room a summery feel.
