Contemporary Kitchen with pop of color
Italian cabinetry with aluminum legs and a pop of color lighten up this kitchen project. This project combined an existing 1920's kitchen and butler pantry, to create this open, workable kitchen. The design challenges included the windows, which could not be changed. and the existing Viking range
range needed to be included. As well as the hood that needed venting, and corner chimney that needed to stay. The combination of quartz and stainless counter tops, as well as the use of aluminum legs and no wall cabinetry, provide for smooth transition to create the feel of one space.
The counter tops are a combination of quartz (Caesarstone or Cambria are two of the most popular brands), and stainless steel. Caesarstone and Cambria are both readily available from local sources such as a kitchen designer, or a counter top specialist. The stainless steel counter tops were custom

The new kitchen bar counter sits where a wall was originally. Two species of wood were used in the cabinets, walnut and alder. Pendant lights over the peninsula are Estiluz, the track lights over the back kitchen counter are Tech Lighting HID high efficacy light sources to pass California's Title 24 energy requirements.

This house had a useless back porch, oddly configured kitchen, and walls all over the place so the kitchen was completely blocked off from the rest of the house. The renovation included a two story addition to expand the kitchen and the master suite, add a family room and make this space ideal for family

Our apologies for answering this incorrectly. This project was completed a few years ago. The counter stools are from Restoration Hardware, however they probably aren't in inventory.
