View of kitchen area -- two inch thick marble counter, La Cornue stove in “Jaguar Burgundy”, Tuscan grille on right. We decided to build some cabinets in white oak and paint the others. The cooking area floor is large scale ceramic tile that looks like rusted iron sheets.

Great idea for a sink cabinet
Don't really like this cabinet but would like something similar in downstairs bath, furniture piece made into cabinet flor sink.
Some surfaces of vintage pieces naturally lend themselves nicely to being used as a sink...like the marble top on this gorgeous antique oak cabinet. I wonder if this was a dry sink prior to being made into a real "wet" sink. The mirror above is just perfect. Absolutely beautiful!

straight back on both sides? or are they shaped to the inside cabinet sides? (ie, kind of pie shaped?) Just wondering if this would work for our corner cabinet that was built in 1950 and has a completely round turntable inside it and a FLAT front cabinet door set an angle to the rest of the cupboards, not "knotched"
