I am doing the walls the exact same way and will be purchasing a crib from Restoration Hardware, but it is in a bronze finish as opposed to pewter. The crib is featured in a light colored room on the Restoration site and also uses an antique Creme/White
like a little beaver. We had to use a rubber crib guard. There is no way those crib guards would work on this crib, and I highly doubt Restoration Hardware sells one.
All the trim and cabinetry (as well as wainscoting) is Dover White oil based enamel in a satin finish. Hope that helps!
is it oil based trim and wainscoting? Glossy or flat? We are getting it in

This REALLY dress's up the glass and makes a big difference. I know brass is not a finish that is favored at the moment, but Antique Brass and Oil Rubbed Bronze (the light colored one) make this glass pattern really stand out. I know it sounds a bit strange, but chrome, brushed nickel, satin chrome and
I have done lots of glass tile and if you use the diamond bits with just a bit of lubricating oil, you can do just about anything to the glass tiles. I prefer the 3in1 oil but any thing will work just fine. Good luck! Sean Strong
stevie, what is antique glass? I love the a.brass and bronze fixtures so I'm curious about the glass. Thanks.

I have a sample of the Ash color from Restoration Hardware you said was used to paint the cabinets, but it looks nothing like the color in the picture. In the picture , the cabinets look white/off white..
Where's the knob/pull hardware from? It's exactly what i'm looking for
sconces are polished nickel. The chandelier (Shabby Chic - Simple Chandelier) is a antique bronze.
The walls are Restoration Hardware Paint - Graphite and the cabinets are color matched to Restoration Hardware paint - Ash
Thanks! The walls are Restoration Hardware Paint - Graphite. If you do not have access to Restoration Hardware paint, a very close color is Benjamin Moore Pashmina AF-100. The Restoration Hardware color is a bit cooler gray and the Benjamin Moore color a bit warmer

We used an oil wood sealant on all the end cuts plus, the owner oils all the counters on a regular basis.
We didn't stain the butcher block. It's oak that we oiled. The homeowner likes oiling it regularly to keep the rich color.
it looks really good but needs regular maintenance. for hard living kitchens that means sanding and oiling. and not letting water sit on the counter.

Could you please tell me the maker and style name of the brass cabinet hardware. The brass looks so smart and seldom seen!
right. My kitchen sink and appliances are SS and I am considering purchasing an antique brass faucet, polished chrome, or satin nickel. The cabinet hardware and lighting fixtures that I like are also antique brass. Do you have an opinion on which direction I should go?
gives things a sense of age, like they have been gathered over time instead of all done at once. I like to mix chrome BN and oil rubbed or antique blacks together because they all have the same tone and when you do that it doesn't matter so much...when you throw the brass or antique brass in like above
when we mix metal finishes we try to stick with 2 and I usually choose the lights and the the hardware on the home (window and door hardware) to be one then cabinet and faucet to be the other. that being said I have done all kinds of things and made it work, mixing gives
