Love the door to solve for a small space/bathroom
Can you tell me how the door is opened from the inside? I am trying to find a solution to remove a door that opens inward to the bath to enable my 3 boys to be in there (well at 2 to use each of the sinks). Was planning to use a standard door and barn
Love your door solution for a very small bathroom.
I notice you bathroom is very close to your kitchen, does this type of door provide the privacy needed for a functional bathroom? I have a similar situation and would like detail on the privacy issues before moving forward with this as a solution
barn door hardware. Trying to figure out the handles on the outside and the inside.
With sliding barn door hardware there will be a gap in between the door and wall. It is not as private as a traditional swing open door. There are people who choose this type of door as a master suite bathroom door however. Just keep in mind there will be a slight gap.If you have any other questions

noticed there was a notch in the trim of the doorway and I haven't seen that before with sliding doors. Is that to allow space for a handle on the other side or is it there to make it easier to grab the door when it is fully rolled past the opening?
sliding doors for interior use, we have the door overhang the opening slightly so a handle can be used on the other side to easily grab and close the door.
You are correct. The cased opening was trimmed out, and a slot was left in the trim to allow the hardware on the inside of the door to slide

What is that big wooden door? Where does it lead?
Large wooden door on the left side of the shot.
How do I get a big wooden door like that one?
I freaking love that wooden door!
Where did you find that door?
Wooden doors like this one were common in old Indian homes. There carve intricate designs on the wood, and even use brass studs and ornamentation. The antique doors are difficult to find and expensive, but some indian furniture websites may have pieces that that may deliver. If you have someone visiting
wooden door too. Any info on how to find one or how to build it myself?
These doors are very popular in the Middle East. Many people use the doors and even have tables made from them.
Thank you for the prompt response. It is a beautiful door. Looks

Where did you get the hardware for the barn door? Love it!
This is a fantastic door. To see more wonderful Flat Track applications like this, check out our Houzz account, or our website www.doorhdwe.com
Are you still looking... We are currently dissembling an old barn and have over 200 boards identical to the ones used in this sliding door. They are 1 x10s
check into RealSlidingHardware.com they offer the sliding hardware as well as some great door options utilizing true reclaimed and repurposed wood ( as opposed to a door treated and altered to look reclaimed). The door has such a wow factor due to its authenticity, great job!
I'm not sure where this particular hardware is from but we sell sliding barn door hardware. We are located in Idaho but ship our tracks all over the place. Our hardware is very high quality. We offer a variety of styles and finishes
