The kitchen is about a third of the family living area on the first floor, and is about 20'x17'. It it's completely open to the family room and eating areas. It also has great views out to the backyard through windows that are behind the camera.
I like counters and dark cabinets open to family room and cabinets on both sides of island

Love the open shelving but I would use it for glassware, dishware, bowls, serving platters, etc. instead
I would like the pantry to have one wall of open shelves 12-18" deep and the opposite wall to have upper and lower cabinets. One end of the cabinets to be full height to store the vacuum, broom etc

Was insulation installed in the open air space?
Underneath the home, because of the use of wood floors, was insulation installed?
We would like to enclose our open air centre atrium area with this type of ceiling.
Could you point me in the direction of a manufacturer of this type of installation. Thank you so much for any info you might have.
