What kind of wood and finish has been used for this floor. Would really appreciate if you let me know. Thanks again.
your comment. We were in charge of the staging for this paticular project but we were not involved in the interior design process. A similar looking floor option would be a wide plank dark wood wenge. In this case the finish was quite glossy. Good luck!

Questions2
What is the wood floor used in this picture?
Correct! Rift & Quartered White Oak is 50% more stable than plain/flat sawn White Oak. That makes it the prefered solid flooring for radiant heat installations. Many of our floors made for states in the north west are for RH systems.
was selected because is does not 'move' too much (expand-contract, the house is equipped with radiant heat installed between the subfloor and finish floors).
whats wrong with plain open space
white cabs, warm wood floors, open light fixtures, color accents

Run along the roofSkylights running right along the highest point of this roof flood this open-plan kitchen and dining space with light and leave the walls free for cabinets and shelving.
Keep eye level open in a small roomWhile the base cabinets in this kitchen follow a typical L-shaped layout, the wall furniture is more of a departure, combining open shelving and cupboards to maximise storage without making the room feel closed
