spaces. An open concept plan for the great room, kitchen, and dining acts as the focus, and all other spaces radiate off that point. Bedrooms are designed to be cozy, with lots of storage with cubbies and built-ins. Natural lighting has been strategically designed to allow diffused light to filter into c
elements. The plan of the home is roughly 4500 square feet, and settled on the site in a single level. A series of ‘pods’ break the home into separate zones of use, as well as creating interesting exterior spaces. Clean, contemporary lines work seamlessly with the heavy timbers throughout the interior spaces

space that opens up to become a front porch to the beautiful Hood Canal. The east-facing house is sited along a high bank, with a wonderful view of the water. The main living volume is completely glazed, with 12-ft. high glass walls facing the view and large, 8-ft.x8-ft. sliding glass doors that open to
large, open porch. Anchoring the north end of the living space is a two-story building volume containing several bedrooms and separate his/her office spaces. The interior finishes are simple and elegant, with IPE wood flooring, zebrawood cabinet doors with mahogany end panels, quartz and limestone
for wide openings which alows the space to remain completely open and a streem of air flows acroiss the opening keeping the insects out and the cool air in. @dalbrickenden Yes, you can get impact rated sliding & folding doors. We can provide up to 58" x 103" for a hurricane/impact rated sliding door panel

All-white walls, big windows, and a simple material palette helped open up the space, and the industrial look was brought in through exposed ceiling beams and steel accents. the wide-open feeling of the warehouse. Touches like leaving the original ceiling remind them of the building's history.
