In the master bathroom, soft limestone tiling resembles sand. Gail designed the unenclosed shower so it appears as if it were meant to be outside, giving bathers a tranquil sense of being at the beach. She also designed the chest of drawers.

Window in bathtub/shower area. I've been told that is not a good idea, although, I like the light.
Redoing 1950's small (about 5 x 8)bath and removing the tub. There is a window on the 5' wall. Isn't this a problem with a shower and moisture?
where did you purchase the shower glass from?
Great design. What is the minimum width to allow for the shower area beside the bath.
Hi, Can you please explain how the water doesn't come out of the shower area to the rest of the bathroom. Is the partial glass partition enough to prevent that or do you have to slant the shower floor area towards the drain. Thanks
What are the dimensions of this bath shower area?
partial glass wall that separates the shower area and the tub from the rest of the bathroom. In some situations a small amount of over-splash can get on the floor at the opening to the glass, similar to what happens with regular showers from water drip when the door opens. We have used partial glass dividers

sit. If the space is large enough, outdoor furniture (benches, stools, etc.) are a perfect way to replace the built-in bench found in a traditional shower. What to say about this wetroom? It's absolutely stunning! The pebble floor, stone mosaic walls in the wet zone and that fire-orange bench set it all

Is this an open shower? Like an outdoor shower inside?
What are the dimensions of the shower area? Would love to know.
Love the black pebble tile shower floor! Gorgeous design!
By counting the shower tiles, it looks like the shower area is a touch over 4' across from wall to tub. I can't count the tiles coming forward (can't see the

Key to open shower designs is ensuring user comfort in terms of temperature so this shower benefits from a heated floor throughout the shower and bath area as well.

Idea for shower/tile/ flooring in garage
This is an entirely open shower design. We designed
There's no need to worry about splashing here, because this entire bathroom is a wet room. Having the shower's controls at the opening of the shower makes heating things up easy and keeps the homeowners from getting wet in the process.Tip: When designing a barrier-free bathroom like this, extra care

May we ask the distance from the end of the tub in this photo, to the opposing shower wall? How about the dimensions of the shower? We have a bathroom set up similarly, and are not sure this type of shower would work. Thank you very much.
What are the dimensions of the shower?
The bathroom is 12' wide (5' shower, 7' tub)
Minimum is 3'x5', which works ok. A small amount of water will bounce out onto the floor outside the shower. 3'x6 is ideal.
I don't want doors on my shower and wondered what the minimum distance is recommended?

that shimmer tile used in the shower?
I don't see the door for the shower.
What are the dimensions of the shower? Is the shower floor lower than the rest of the bathroom floor?
I, too, would like to know the dimension of this shower space.
Hello, I am just curious as to what kind of material was used on the shower floor of this bathroom? Looks like Travertine or limestone? Thanks!
What are the dimensions of the shower?
No door..."wet room" style. Shower floor area slopes toward drain.
Open shower? One drain. This would be very nice.
