Rugs can add a sense of luxury. The one here is a subtle addition but helps make the room what it is. Another example, like the ones above, where functionality and aesthetics come together to create luxury without opulence.
Oriental rugs are great for bedrooms as well. I like how the simple white

Stick a simple rug underneath in a natural material (jute, rattan or seagrass work well) to cover the difference.

but want to use it anyway, a great solution is to layer it on top of a natural fiber rug.
Old and new elements coexist in harmony all over the home. In this room, a well-worn oriental rug set atop a seagrass rug holds a Chinese Garden Stool, traditional in style but a modern idea for a coffee table

Add a cozy rug. A bath mat does not have to be a shaggy little rectangle. Add an Oriental rug to enjoy underfoot. The rich colors will warm up the look of the room as well. Be sure to add a rug pad or rug tape that will grip the floor underneath any bathroom rug to prevent slips.

Where can I buy this or a similar area rug.

One of a kind rug, not for
Can you please tell me the source for this rug?
I love this rug. Is it antique? can you share resource? Is it available for sale?
I've seen a similar one, on the Rugs USA website, obviously not the same as an authentic Persian though!: http://m.rugsusa.com/229PM82-P.html
It looks like the rug is a one of a kind custom rug. If you like the design we can do custom rugs at very affordable prices.
My suggestions to you would be to purchase pillows that pull colors from your rug. The pillows should also have visual interest as in prints or images. Maybe step up the colors in the pillows but are in keeping with the rug colors. Also you need a coffee table. I would go with glass top and iron legs
