What finish of paint did you use? Matte/Satin/Flat/Semi???
who has painted their cabinets has issues with them being sticky. Is there something I can do to prevent this?

but the paint is from general finishes called milk paint. We had the Ben Moore color mixed by general finishes. They will color match any swatch with this product. We used their satin sheen milk paint, which actually has a very low, flat sheen.
cabinets with painted finishes that stick, it is always some sort of interior wall paint that is latex based. Maybe the formulas with higher quality acrylic are better? Not sure. I think it is a question best asked your local paint store that deals in professional grade products.
