How do you clear the leaves from the path without blowing gravel everywhere? I had crushed granite between flagstone and it didn't mix with my large oak trees that shed tons of leaves. Broom or blower made a mess of the gravel. I love the more natural look

Hi there---the paths are actually a product called "chip and seal." There is a layer of asphalt, then a layer of liquid tar, and then the gravel gets embedded into the asphalt. Very similar to an exposed aggregate concrete.

When installing a pea gravel path / patio we will typically edge the area with a brick or belgium block paver and aluminum paver edging. If the client doesn't want the additional stone edge / detail, we will just install aluminum edging to retain the pea gravel.
