problems with cork floors? Does furniture movement damage the surface?
Are most cork floors pre-sealed with polyurethane? Is it desirable? Is this what gives the cork in this photo the sheen it has? (I like the look.)
Was this cork floor installed over radiant heat? If so, is it glue down or floating ?
What brand is the cork floor?
Cork maintenance is similar to hardwood. It should be cleaned the same way. With heavy furniture, you will see dents in the floor when furniture sits for a long time, however, cork has a certain amount of resilience, so eventually, the dents will fill in and disappear. I recommend
sealing your cork floors after installation.
This was not applied over radiant heat. It is a floating floor.

Do you need to wash the corks and dry them in the sun prior to making a cork backsplash wall?
That cork wall is so cool
The corks are laid out in alternating angles so there will be some spaces at the top and bottom of the design which I can fill in with glass or marbles. What would you use for backing (to attach the corks on? I don't want to attach the corks directly to the wall. I'm planning to do 1/2" border at
great cork backsplash! Who makes this, and does it come in any other-than-natural colors?
1/16" cork. The cork to cork should give you the uniform bond your looking for and a background that looks good without having to add odds and ends.
Were the corks applied directly to the wall or was something put over the wall before applying?

Home Depot.com sells cork wall tiles. I think there are a few
Cork boards are great, when you don't damage your important papers, artwork, photos and decorations. The PaperCricket Display push pins hold multiple sheets of paper without pin holes. You'll love the Paper Crickets!

Cork. Hmmmm. Easy on joints.
Fans of cork adore its natural variations in tone and texture, which create a richness and depth that even the best manufacturers can’t replicate. If you’d rather go bold, cork can be dyed or stained any shade that suits your fancy.
7. Go natural with cork flooring. Cork is soft, warm, reduces sound
basicsNatural cork comes from the bark of cork trees, found mainly in southern Europe and northern Africa. Scraps of bark left over from punched-out bottle stoppers are ground, pressed and baked into sheets that are ready to convert into floor planks and tiles. Some cork flooring comes pre-finished, although it still will need periodic doctoring to keep it in shape.Cork can bounce back from small nicks, but major dings—for example, sliding a table across the floor and taking a chunk of cork with it—are tougher to fix. Furniture eventually will leave permanent
hough cork is durable, be prepared to put in some maintenance. Crumbs, dirt and other detritus can scar its surface over time, so don’t go more than a week without sweeping or vacuuming. Cork also needs to be re-sealed with protective coats of polyurethane every few years. Alternatively, you can seal

Who is the manufacturer of the cork floor?
that! The floor looks very similar to a floor I have selected for a yoga studio (the floors are by USFloors) and finding a wall color has been challenging. I appreciate knowing you used off white here. It looked like a cream color in your photo above. Thanks!
Cork floors? Love the floor to ceiling mirrors. Could work well in a basement space.
