"I love lying in bed and looking at this wall — every piece brings back memories," Tam says. "Some of the art pieces were at my grandparents' home, and some were done by my mother who was a wonderful artist. The photo of the two pears is from IKEA and always reminds me of my husband and I. The pink tissue paper heart was made by my niece. I made the frame that holds my earrings from a vintage frame with mesh stretched on it; it's very practical."
The heart in this gallery was created by this homeowner's niece. Using a wide range of frame styles and shapes, along with a variety of images including both children's and others, creates a collected look that adds a lot of charm to a room.
Gallery walls aren’t anything new, but sneaking in piece of framed mesh adds unique flair to this arrangement. Framing mesh not only works functionally as a place to hang jewelry, but the colorful jewelry also adds charm to the display.
Jewelry boxes, hooks and displays. Keep your jewelry ready and at hand with accessible solutions. Use small bowls for rings or bracelets, hang necklaces on wall hooks and consider framing a sheet or wire mesh to hold earrings. Organize your jewelry boxes so everything is spread out evenly and easy to see when you pull out each drawer.
The organized jumble. The mood is very feminine. The colors are pink, yellow and turquoise. The rest of it is just a lovely assemblage of vaguely related things. Artsy, vintagey and worldly.
The color scheme here is golds, pinks, white and turquoise. The vibe is feminine and nostalgic, and the feeling is intensely personal. Yes, there are many things in this tableau, but they are not just thrown in haphazardly.
