There are great looking porcelain tiles that mimic natural stone very closely. Keep in mind that once natural stone has been sealed after installation it requires very little if any maintenance other than normal cleaning which would be the same for porcelain/ceramic. There is the benefit however of the cost savings when using man made materials.

Thank you. With your experience, I was just wondering if you have any recommendations for the shower wall. (Maintenance is my only concern at this point) Again, this bath is breathtaking. Thanks a lot.!

The tile we chose hear is a textured natural stone so for cleaning it presents a bit of challenge but we loved it and were willing to deal with that. Normally I would recommend a smooth surface tile with a polished finish for the shower walls so that it is easier to wipe down. It doesn't matter if it is stone or tile.

Hi there, can you tell me if the stone on the wall is larger tiles or smaller lineal strips? and also what color it is? Is it Antique Beige as well or another color of marble/limestone??
thanks!

What's the purpose of the tub spout low on the wall under the valves?

I absolutely love the tile on the shower wall. I am redoing my kitchen and have a crema marfil floor with dark cabinets. Can you tell me where to find the tile you used on the walls? I would love to use it for my backsplash. I live in Dallas, TX, so hopefully they have something similar here. It's beautiful. You did a great job on this bathroom.

They were purchased at Granite & Marble Depot in Toronto, and are no longer available but there are similar looking tiles available, I'm sure you will have success in Dallas.
