Glenna Partridge Garden Design It looks like the planter has a clumping type of bamboo planted in it. There are many varieties you can get and if you google clumping bamboo you will find lots of info on the subject and nurseries that sell it in your area. Here's a link
On outside flooring what do you put on it that makes it shine. We live in florida and have stained our outdoor wood deck but it gets so hot you cannot walk on it and it never shines like yours.
Thanks

cassiewade Murphy's oil soap is great and no need to rinse it off I use it inside and outside on all my wood flooring works great plus helps preserve wood
When you've got guests coming, seating is key. Built-in benches, dining chairs and an ottoman to perch on provide plenty of options on this inviting deck.
2. The wall surrounding this outdoor patio made this photo worth bookmarking for many Houzz users. Houzzers were inspired by the built-in planters and all of the seating that this practical wall provided.
1. Use one long bench for multiple seating areas. Make the most of your space by using a built-in bench long enough to span several seating areas. Vary the height of your bench so you can position an outdoor dining table at one end and make a lounge area at the other end.
